These Website Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Social Security GPS, LLC ("Social Security GPS," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing socialsecuritygps.com, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. Public website only

These Terms apply to the public marketing website, its educational resources, and public forms. An authenticated calculator, subscription, or other separately hosted product may be governed by additional service, privacy, billing, and data-processing terms supplied during enrollment. If those terms conflict with these Terms for product use, the product terms control.

2. Educational information, not individualized advice

Website content is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is not financial planning, investment, legal, accounting, tax, insurance, medical, or other professional advice. It does not create a client, advisory, fiduciary, or professional relationship.

Your circumstances may involve rules or facts not addressed here. Consult SSA for official benefit and eligibility determinations and qualified professionals for advice within their fields.

3. No government affiliation or endorsement

Social Security GPS is a private business. It is not the Social Security Administration, is not affiliated with or endorsed by SSA or another government agency, and cannot file an official claim or determine a benefit on SSA's behalf.

4. No guarantee

We do not promise that using the site, a planning method, or a product will maximize benefits, produce a specific result, prevent loss, or be suitable for every person. Estimates and examples depend on supplied information, assumptions, current rules, and data available at the time. SSA determines actual eligibility and payment amounts.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harm another person;
• Attempt to bypass security, gain unauthorized access, or interfere with operation;
• Introduce malicious code, scrape the site at a disruptive rate, or test vulnerabilities without written permission;
• Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or authority to submit information;
• Copy, republish, or commercially exploit protected site content except as law permits; or
• Submit Social Security numbers, financial-account details, or other sensitive data through public forms.

6. Intellectual property

The site, brand, logos, design, text, graphics, and other original content are owned by Social Security GPS or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Limited linking to public pages is permitted. No other license is granted unless stated in writing.

7. Third-party resources

Links to SSA and other third-party sites are provided for convenience and reference. We do not control or endorse all content, products, availability, or practices on external sites. Third-party terms and privacy notices govern those services.

8. Website availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any public site feature or content. We try to keep information useful and current but do not warrant that the site will always be available, error-free, complete, or current.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the public site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Social Security GPS and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or loss arising from reliance on public website content. Any direct liability relating to the public site will be limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid specifically to use the public site during the 12 months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where federal law or non-waivable local law applies. Any dispute relating to the public site must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Alaska unless the parties agree otherwise.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top identifies the latest version. Continuing to use the site after revised Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
